Anck-Su-Namun

Ugh, so I settled down to color this and discovered most of my skin-color markers had dried out. Just like that. I'll have to revive them somehow, of course...meanwhile though, I was stuck using the last remaining 3!

Now, Ancksunamun's one of my fav-characters-of-all-time...sure, I have a lot of those, but I like Ancksunamun enough to have cosplayed her a couple times. As I don't have any artsy friends willing to spend hours painting me up, I had to fall back on a bodysuit, but I plan to track down a professional body paint artist sooner or later. 
Back to Ancksunamun- I absolutely loved her in the first Mummy movie. She was only in the first few scenes, but boy was she gorgeous in them. Not to mention badass, taking control of her own destiny and deciding she would much rather be Imhotep's lover than Pharaoh's mistress. 

Then the second movie came along and ruined everything. Come on! Imhotep and Anck-Su-Namun have been running after one another for thousands of years, both have died multiple times, and you want me to believe Anck-Su-Namun'd just ditch Imhotep because she was afraid to die? Anything to make Rick and Evelyn look better by comparison, amiright? >.>
